Tsuboya Kiln (Okinawa)

Producing jars, plates, bowls, sake bottles and various other types of tableware, old traditions of folk art pottery have been well preserved in the Tsuboya Kiln. The influences of Korea, Kyushu, and Vietnam are visible in Okinawan pottery, but it has distinctive characteristics differing from those of the main Japanese islands.
