We are pleased to introduce the next offering this summer, the Relief Carving Workshop with Frankie Holley ~ Sunday, July 12, 4-8pm.
The Experience~
Join us for a special workshop with Tender Prey printmaker, Frankie Holley, as we explore the world of linocut printmaking. Frankie will guide guests through each step of relief carving, beginning with conceptualization and concluding with printing your design in this intimate 4 hour experience.
The Ethos~
We encourage you to treat yourself with kindness as you treat yourself to this experience! This workshop, along with the others in our Summer Workshops, is intended to be an exploratory evening of fun, a bold first step into a new medium. Enjoy the process and connect with a local community of creatives.
The Accoutrements~
In addition to Frankie's careful instruction, a 4" x 6" linoleum block will be provided to each participant, accompanied by the tools & materials needed carve and print your design. At the end of the workshop, you bring home not only your print and carved block, but also a block printing kit & an easy-to-follow lesson plan to guide you through printing at home.
Things to keep in mind~
The Tender Prey workshop is $175 total, including instructions, materials, printmaking kit, and print/block from class. Your non-refundable deposit is credited towards your final balance. This deposit is transferrable to another workshop date with a minimum of 48hrs notice.
